Ascot has announced the appointment of Bruce Sikorski (pictured above) as group head of corporate services. Based in the company’s Iselin, New Jersey office, Sikorski will report to Bill Thygeson, group chief human resources officer.
In this newly created position, Sikorski will oversee the day-to-day operations of Ascot’s global facilities. Ascot says that his responsibilities will include ensuring the functionality, safety, sustainability, and consistency of the company's sites worldwide.
Additionally, Sikorski will manage Ascot’s global travel program and corporate vendor relationships.
Sikorski brings nearly 25 years of experience in global facilities management to the role. Before joining Ascot, he spent nearly 20 years at Everest, where he managed the global real estate operations of more than 30 offices across four continents.
Earlier in his career, he served as corporate facilities supervisor at Spencer Savings Bank, overseeing real estate operations across 15 branches and the bank's headquarters. Sikorski began his career as a carpenter, gaining hands-on experience in the development and construction of commercial properties with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Thygeson stated that Sikorski’s experience in managing large, complex facilities and leading global teams will contribute to Ascot’s operational capabilities.
“As we continue to add talent and expand our presence across the “golden triangle” of global specialty insurance – the US, UK, and Bermuda – Bruce’s proven experience managing large, complex facilities and leading global teams will be invaluable to our continued operational success,” Thygeson said.
Last October, the global insurance group also appointed Neil Dalton as group chief claims officer, a newly created position aimed at enhancing the company’s claims management capabilities.
In this role, Dalton is responsible for developing strategies that provide an “innovative and differentiated” claims experience for global clients, ensuring a streamlined and proactive claims process.
