Rachel Cohen, who spent 10 years at Barbican Insurance Group, has made the switch to New Dawn Risk where she has been appointed as a senior treaty broker.
The University of Manchester alumnus most recently served as a class underwriter of international casualty treaty at Lloyd’s Syndicate 1955. She brings underwriting experience in the casualty reinsurance sector both internationally and in the UK.
“Over the last decade we have built a robust treaty business and a strong offering in multiple markets,” noted New Dawn Risk chief executive Max Carter. “As we embark on the next phase of growth, Rachel’s appointment helps to further strengthen our team and ensure that we can offer cedants an even more valuable proposition.”
A specialist insurance intermediary formed in 2008, New Dawn Risk provides bespoke advisory solutions with a focus on complex, international liability and other specialty insurance and reinsurance.
