Law firm DAC Beachcroft (DACB) has appointed Philip D’Netto and Daniel Clegg as partners in its UK complex and catastrophic injury practice, within the firm’s Claims Solutions Group.
The two partners, who are catastrophic and large loss claims specialists, join DACB’s Manchester office from Plexus Law. At Plexus Law, D’Netto led the firm’s catastrophic injury team from 2018, while Clegg served as a partner from 2017.
A release said that both D’Netto and Clegg are “highly respected insurance practitioners,” with more than 40 years of combined experience in resolving complex, catastrophic injury claims, acting for London market and UK general insurers, as well as public sector organisations and global logistics companies.
“This double partner hire is a very significant appointment for our Claims Solutions Group, as we look to implement our ambitious plans to build our catastrophic and complex injury claims offering in Manchester and deliver a truly national capability to our insurer clients,” said DACB Claims Solutions Group CEO Craig Dickson. “Philip and Daniel will play key roles in enabling us to achieve these strategic aims, at a regional and national level.”

DACB’s complex and catastrophic injury practice spans 30 partners and more than 130 lawyers, who are all based at 10 locations across the UK.
