October seems to be a busy month for Allianz as it has appointed Graham Stait (pictured) as its new head of claims operations only a few days after revealing a new non-executive chairman.
Since joining the Allianz graduate programme in 2008, Stait has held various leadership roles across the group, including claims proposition and claims manager. In these roles, he was responsible for enhancing customer experience and streamlining claims processes, with a particular focus on digital initiatives.
In his most recent position as the head of supply and experts, Stait was a member of the claims management board and was responsible for Allianz’s motor engineering and claims investigator functions. He was also responsible for developing a “fit-for-future” motor damage strategy while embedding sustainability across the group’s supply chain.
Now, in his new role, Stait will lead the development and delivery of Allianz’s claims operational strategy – leveraging enhanced people, data, and digital capabilities to drive positive customer outcomes.
Graham Gibson, the chief claims officer at Allianz, commented: “I am delighted to welcome Graham to his new role as head of claims operations. He has been an integral member of our claims management board for the last two years and has a wealth of experience, having held some key leadership positions during his time at Allianz. I have no doubt that he will approach his new position with the same fresh outlook, commitment, and enthusiasm.”
