Capital Consulting International (CCi), a consultancy specialising in construction disputes and insurance claims, has expanded its presence in Australia by entering South Australia.
The international consultancy launched a new office in Adelaide, its fifth hub in the country. Its other offices are in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.
The new Adelaide office will provide consultancy services in the delay, quantum, and technical areas and project management services related to major capital-intensive projects.
“The expansion into the South Australia market marks an important chapter of our growth ambition in the Asia-Pacific region,” said Simon Lowe, managing director for Asia Pacific at CCi. “Our experience in South Australia working with large asset owners puts us in a favourable position to develop our client offering in the state.”
Simon Russell will lead CCi's Adelaide team while remaining as the consultancy's regional director of the Western Australian operations, leading the team of commercial managers, quantity surveyors, and claims consultant experts.
Russell is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with more than 30 years of international experience in major power generation, mining, process, and infrastructure projects. He brings to the new role his expertise from his career across Europe, the US, and Australia.
“I am absolutely thrilled to be part of this expansion. I look forward to leading the CCi team in South Australia and meeting both current and new clients over the coming months,” he said.
Founded in 1998 and headquartered in London, CCi has been active in Australia for over a decade. It significantly beefed up its local operation in late 2021 when it acquired Aston Consult, adding a team of 30 members to its Australia and New Zealand ranks.
