A recent report from the Philippine Insurance Commission has revealed that Sun Life of Canada (Philippines) remains the top life insurance company in the Southeast Asian country.
This is Sun Life’s seventh straight year earning the distinction in the Philippines. The insurer defended its title by achieving the highest total premium income among insurers in the region for 2017 – at Php 32 billion.
“This milestone is one we attribute to our clients, whose trust and support inspire us to keep improving and innovating,” said Sun Life of Canada (Philippines) president Alex Narciso. “We also have our advisors, employees and partners to thank, for it is through their hard work and passion that we are able to touch the lives of more Filipinos.”
By the end of 2017, Sun Life had grown its Filipino client base to more than three million and its advisory force in the region is currently over 11,000, BusinessMirror reported.
“We are on track to realising our ‘RI5E PH’ vision of having five million clients by 2020,” Sun Life Philippines CEO and country head Rizalina G. Mantaring commented.
