Maritime and transport expert Michelle Taylor has joined Sparke Helmore Lawyers to work across its government and commercial insurance teams.
Taylor is an accomplished lawyer with over 25 years of experience as a litigator. She specialises in maritime and transport law and has deep knowledge in marine insurance, including hull, liability, pollution, cargo, and transit claims.
Taylor has spent over a decade working with Commonwealth Government, including the Australian Maritime Safety Authority and the Department of Defence. She was recently invited to contribute to the Commonwealth Government's consultation on the Wreck Removal Convention, and she has significant expertise in admiralty practice and maritime-related disputes in the Asia Pacific region.
