Prominent insurtech Claim Central has confirmed a senior reshuffle after one of its top executives moved into an alternative role within the business.
Travis Dale, formerly head of operations for the firm’s Australia and New Zealand business, is taking up the newly-created role of design and implementation manager. The position will see Dale work closely with clients to support them in implementing Claim Central’s services and technology solutions into their businesses.
“As our business is going through a period of growth, we’ve recognised the need to expand the design and implementation team to continue to support our clients, and on board them successfully,” said chief operating officer Clint Kerekes.
In order to fill the international opening left by Dale, Claim Central has appointed two new players, welcoming industry veterans Jeff Pryde and Rebecca Shean to the team.
Based in Sydney, Rebecca Shean joins the firm as head of property repair and will take on the responsibility for the assessing, repair and restoration divisions, managing strategic projects and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
“I am really looking forward to sharing my knowledge and expertise within the insurance industry through coaching and development of our people, and looking for opportunities to build on our existing processes to drive a better overall customer experience,” Shean told Insurance Business.
Shean boasts more than 20 years’ experience in the industry, including a nine-year stint at Suncorp where she was most recently a senior advisor in event response, managing the home claims and home assessing teams. She also worked at IAG for six years in several leadership roles across motor and niche products.
“Rebecca is well-known and highly respected in the insurance industry,” said Kerekes. “Her strong leadership and operations skills will bring a new dimension to the operations team.”
Jeff Pryde joins as New Zealand country head and will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of Claim Central’s newly-established New Zealand team
“Jeff’s appointment brings an important mix of external experience to lead the New Zealand team, coupled with a deep understanding of loss adjusting and catastrophe management,” said global chief executive Brian Siemsen.
“Jeff is an accomplished business leader and is well positioned to help drive Claim Central’s strategy and future potential in the important New Zealand market,” he added.
