Lockton International has appointed Stephen Punch (pictured) as executive manager – reinsurance Australia & New Zealand. The appointment took effect on July 27, according to a statement from the company.
Punch has over 25 years’ experience in both broking and underwriting for the Asia-Pacific market, providing risk and capital solutions for insurers, reinsurers, MGAs and government entities. He was most recently with JLT Re as deputy CEO for Asia-Pacific and CEO of its Australian business. Earlier in his career, Punch worked at Willis Re, Aon Benfield, and Gen Re, having held various underwriting, broking, and leadership roles.
