One of Australia’s leading law firms has positioned itself at the top of the insurance market by taking on a new insurance practice.
Hall & Wilcox has announced that its has taken on a team from Sparke Helmore as they look to bolster their position one of the leading insurance law specialists in the country.
The team is led by Sparke Helmore national insurance leader Rhett Slocombe and includes Grant Galvin, Simon Morgan, Daniel Stoddart, Nicholas Studdert and Joanna Turnbull and will be based in Sydney and Newcastle.
The additions will help add “product line and geographic breadth and depth to better service clients in the insurance and financial services sector,” according to a statement from the company.

“The new practice includes statutory and general insurance service lines, including workers compensation, CTP and general insurance,” Macvean said.

Macvean stressed that clients come first and hopes that the transition period will be as smooth as possible for staff and clients alike.
