The partnership will see Chubb launch its public liability product on the BizCover platform. The product will initially be available as an annual-only policy, with monthly options rolled out later in the year. Policies will begin from $349.18 annually for businesses with under 50 employees and less than $7 million in annual turnover.
“We're thrilled to be partnering with Chubb once again, [bringing] along a great reputation in claims handling and expertise in small business insurance,” said Jane Mason, head of product, channels, and risk at BizCover.
“We understand the importance of protecting businesses against financial losses and believe adding more insurers onto our platform makes our offering more competitive, reducing the cost of small business insurance.”
Last December, Chubb launched its cyber liability offering on the BizCover platform, with the policies starting from $487.50.
BizCover brought the product on board to bolster its offering in the increasingly critical cyber insurance market.
“Cyber insurance is especially topical, given the current environment, and we want to help protect small businesses from the growing risk of cybercrime,” Mason said in a previous statement.
BizCover's other Cyber Liability insurance partners, AIG and DUAL, also updated their product offerings in December to better reflect the risks currently faced by small businesses.
