Leading loss adjusting business Charles Taylor Adjusting Australia (CTA) has finally reached 100 employees by appointing Richard Mayne as an executive adjuster for construction and engineering and natural resources.
Mayne (pictured) brings a wealth of international experience to his new role at CTA and specialises in the adjustment and management of major and complex property, construction, and natural resource losses. Previously, he worked on the broker and client side in Australia, South Africa, the USA, and the UK.
Mayne's entrance to CTA follows the appointment of managing director for property, casualty, technical, and special risks Mark Thompson as the head of Australia and New Zealand operations, announced early this year.
Underpinned by local, regional, and global expertise, CTA's growth in the past 12 months was driven by client demand for specialist claim services across Australia. Despite the challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the increase in headcount reflects a sustained rise in business.
Reflecting on the company's headcount milestone, Richard Lance, client director for Australia at CTA, said: “Our expansion by strategic hiring of technically strong adjusters in key locations means our existing and new clients gain the enormous benefit of having Australia's leading claim specialists working to achieve the best claim outcome, one claim at a time.”
Thompson added: “CTA has been through an exciting period of growth and development in the past 12 months. I am proud to say that in Australia, CTA is now the employer of choice for the insurance industry's leading loss adjusting professionals.”
