The STRIVE series aims to equip insurance brokers with insights and tools to build deeper relationships with clients and strengthen their insurance and service offerings. The sessions will focus on the changing world of work, industry issues, product trends, and the economic factors impacting the insurance industry and communities.
Damien Gallagher, executive general manager at CGU, said the company's leadership team looks forward to touring the country and re-engaging with its broker partners.
“We know that our value lies not just in our products, people, and service but also in our ability to curate insights from a vast range of subject matter experts across our business,” Gallagher said. “And we know that brokers by nature are ambitious. So, as an insurer partner, we want to share this knowledge through STRIVE to help brokers successfully navigate challenging client conversations and thrive in a changing world.”
Brokers attending the CGU STRIVE events may participate in an interactive Q&A session with the insurer's leadership team. They will also receive CGU's STRIVE Report, a comprehensive research paper assessing social and economic trends and their impacts on Australian businesses and communities. It also contains expert commentary on the increasing impacts of climate change and guides brokers around measures their clients and communities must take to mitigate the risks they face and build resilience.
“We understand it's a challenging economic environment for people and businesses across the country. We all need to demonstrate the value we can bring to our customers and partners. We're dedicated to elevating the role of brokers as trusted advisors and seek to increase the value we're delivering by supporting brokers' conversations with their customers on these critical topics,” Gallagher said.
CGU will host the first event in Sydney on September 6, 2022. The other dates and venues are:
The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) will allocate 3.5 points to brokers attending the events. For more information on the events or registration, brokers may contact their CGU Broker Relationships representative.
