BMS, an independent specialist insurance and reinsurance broker, has strengthened its financial lines business in Australia by appointing Andrew McKenzie as the Northern Region manager of financial lines – effective on September 01, 2021.
With over 25 years of experience in the insurance sector, McKenzie brings to BMS Australia a wealth of industry knowledge about risks facing financial institutions, professional service providers, and the board rooms of corporate Australia.
In addition to specialising in the traditional financial lines and professional insurance classes, McKenzie has focused heavily on providing solutions and products for emerging global risks – such as cyber and workplace health and safety – to protect organisations, their executives, and their people.

BMS Australia chief executive officer Andrew Godden stated that the latest appointment is part of BMS's goal to grow its business in Australia.

Based in Brisbane, McKenzie will report to Stuart Davies, the head of financial lines at BMS Australia.
