Housing Industry Association Insurance Services (HIAIS),
Aon’s joint venture with the Housing Industry Association (HIA), has announced a new chief executive officer.
Tim Olive will take on the role, effective January 30, 2017.
Olive has held various senior positions with HIA and has been a board director of HIAIS since 2008 and he is currently the chief executive for business solutions at HIA. David Turner meanwhile, CEO of the joint venture for the past nine years, will remain chairman of the firm.
Lambros Lambrou, chief executive officer of Aon Risk Solutions Australia, noted that Olive is a natural fit for the business.
“Tim’s expertise in the residential construction industry and in-depth understanding of the HIA business is second to none and will be valuable as he leads HIAIS to future growth and success,” Lambrou said.
“I am excited to have him as part of the team and I have no doubt that he will continue to position us strongly as the leading insurance broker for the industry.”
As CEO, Olive will be based at Aon’s Canberra office.
