Texas Agency Alliance (TAA), the leading coalition of independent insurance agencies in the state’s South-Central region, has announced the addition of four new independent member agencies to its fold. With this addition, TAA's roster now boasts over 85 independent agencies.
The newcomers to this alliance based in Texas include:
TAA attributed this surge in memberships to two key factors, the first of which is a noticeable trend of agents moving away from exclusive channels. TAA, as a regional master agency under SIAA, covers an extensive range of 134 counties across Texas. Simultaneously, TAA’s platform also allows agents to tap into fresh revenue streams.
“TAA is dedicated to helping our members establish profitable agencies. This principle applies whether you are a well-established entity, a former exclusive agent, or an emerging startup. Our collective strength and collaboration with member agencies and strategic partner carriers are the bedrock of our collective achievements,” said Ian Exelbert, TAA's chief operating officer.
The network also explained that the inclusion of these new agencies underscores TAA's steadfast dedication to providing independent agencies with the essential resources and unwavering support needed to flourish in an ever-evolving marketplace.
Elsewhere in the state, Texas regulators approved several substantial homeowners’ insurance rate increases in the second quarter of 2023.
