Safety National has announced changes to its executive management structure to support the company's growth. The changes, which will take effect on April 1, are part of a broader organizational realignment.
John Csik, who has been with Safety National for nearly 40 years, will retire from his role as president and as a member of the executive management team. He will transition to the position of executive advisor, where he will continue to provide strategic guidance and work on special projects with the leadership team.
Gus Aivaliotis, meanwhile, the company's current chief underwriting officer, will take on the role of deputy chief executive officer. He will assist the chief executive officer in managing leadership responsibilities, developing, and executing business objectives.
Cyndee Morton, who serves as chief operating officer, will move into the role of president. As president, Morton will be responsible for implementing Safety National's strategic vision, overseeing senior executives, and ensuring alignment across departments to meet the company’s corporate goals.
Nick Kriegel, currently serving as chief innovation officer and general counsel, will step into the position of chief operating officer. He will manage the company's day-to-day operations and work to translate high-level strategic initiatives into actionable tasks throughout the organization. Kriegel was appointed as chief innovation officer last year.
Executive chairman Mark Wilhelm, CEO Duane Hercules and chief client officer Tom Grove will maintain their current roles in the executive management team.
“John Csik has been integral to the company's growth and success over his four decades of service,” Hercules commented. “We look forward to his continued involvement as an executive advisor, and his legacy of dedication and achievement will remain a significant part of Safety National."
Wilhelm said that the management structure would allow the company to leverage the deep expertise of its leadership team to drive further growth and innovation. “The long tenure of this team ensures we continue to uphold the company’s core values and commitment to clients,” he added.
