The National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) is now accepting nominations for four national awards:
The PIA National Company Award of Excellence Award recognizes an insurance company that demonstrates a commitment to the American Agency System and seeks to further the interests of independent agents.
The PIA National Company Representative of the Year Award honors an outstanding company representative for his or her professionalism and unique contributions to the company.
The PIA National Managing General Agency of the Year Award recognizes the outstanding achievement of an MGA in promoting the interests of independent agents, as well as a commitment to the agency system and efforts to create a better business environment for independent agents.
The PIA National Excellence in Social Media Award honors a PIA member agency that effectively furthers its goals using non-traditional communication tools.
PIA members and state or regional affiliate associations may submit nominations. Depending on the nominating criteria for each award, PIA said. The awards will be presented during a luncheon ceremony to be held September 28 in Portland, Maine. The ceremony will be held in conjunction with PIA’s 2018 Fall Governance Meetings.
The deadline for nominations is August 08. To nominate an agent or company, visit the PIA website.
