Kaplansky Insurance has acquired an insurance agency based in Bradford, Massachusetts.
The acquired agency, Anthony and Malcolm Insurance Agency, was founded in 1919. A release said that it has built for itself “an excellent reputation for providing superior service and a wide range of insurance services to both personal and commercial clientele.”
“They’re an agency that epitomizes quality customer service, integrity, hard work, loyalty, and dedication. We’re proud to welcome Anthony and Malcolm clientele and employees,” commented Kaplansky Insurance president and CEO Ely Kaplansky in a statement.
According to a release, this is Kaplansky’s 28th acquisition to date. The purchase of Anthony and Malcolm “further strengthens the agency’s presence as one of the largest independent locally owned agencies in the Northeast.”
“We will continue our quest for profitable, quality agencies who have a solid reputation both in terms of underwriting and quality of service,” CEO Kaplansky added.
Kaplansky’s previous acquisition was the P&C insurance agency Gath Insurance, also based in Massachusetts. That acquisition closed in June 2017.
