Acrisure Re, the reinsurance division of global broker and fintech platform Acrisure, has announced Jennifer D’Arcy will lead its facultative reinsurance (FAC) division as executive vice president.
D’Arcy is tasked with building out Acrisure Re’s FAC strategy for North America from London. She will also be in charged with overseeing and developing marine FAC solutions globally.
Acrisure has seen its marine cargo FAC capabilities buffered with several new hires. The reinsurance broker operates in Asia, Bermuda, Florida, London, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Seattle, Toronto, and Zurich.
With more than 21 years of experience, D’Arcy joins Acrisure Re from Ed Broking, where she was Head of Facultative Reinsurance. Prior to Ed Broking, D’Arcy had similar roles at Price Forbes, as well as RK Harrison, Gibbs Hartley Cooper, HSBC, and Willis.
“Jen is perfectly well-positioned to support our growth ambitions in London across our key lines of business and out of the US where Acrisure has a sizeable footprint,” said Ghassan Mansour, Managing Director and Head of Facultative Reinsurance at Acrisure Re.
D’Arcy said she was delighted to have the opportunity to be part of the Acrisure Re journey and looked forward to working closely with Mansour and the rest of the team.
“Acrisure Re’s FAC team has successfully established itself within the international facultative space as the go-to independent broker for cedants and strategic broker partnerships,” she said.
