Dundee-based Broker Insights, which is known for its Vision Decision Intelligence platform, has made changes at the helm to bolster the company’s growth within the UK and spearhead its expansion into the US.

Bringing more than two decades of leadership experience in high-growth tech enterprises, Peter Scott (pictured left) will assume the role of chief executive after six months as an advisor to the firm. The key hire also has significant international know-how to his name.

Meanwhile Fraser Edmond (pictured right), founder and current CEO of Broker Insights, will become president, dividing his time between the US and the UK to lead the overseas expansion while maintaining home market engagement. The former Aviva distribution director has been in the industry for over 25 years.

Aside from the leadership tweak, Broker Insights is also set to appoint two commercial directors dedicated to specific customer segments.

“We are delighted Peter is joining us at this exciting phase in our company’s journey as we accelerate our growth and expansion,” Edmond commented. “We have some amazing new products launching later this year that will reinforce our commitment to bringing data-led decision-making to the insurance industry.

“We are creating a global leader in the commercial insurance market and bringing to life our company’s mission to ‘empower the commercial insurance industry through data-driven decisions’.”

Earlier this month, Broker Insights rolled out Propensity Lens, a tool powered by artificial intelligence and designed to boost the sector’s ability to forecast successful new business acquisitions.

“Broker Insights’ performance and progress to date have been exceptional,” Scott highlighted. “The business is well-positioned to further grow in the UK and launch in the US, and I look forward to continuing to work closely with Fraser and the executive to take Broker Insights to the next level both here in the UK and also the US.”
