It looks like family-run firm Talbot Jones Risk Solutions is a rare breed in the North East.
The Felling-based commercial insurance brokerage has achieved Corporate Chartered status – making it one of only three brokers with the recognition in the region. Managing director Richard Talbot-Jones (pictured) is a Chartered Insurance Broker himself.
Talbot-Jones serves on the Insurance Institute of Newcastle upon Tyne’s board and represents the region’s insurance industry at a national level.
“We are absolutely delighted to gain this recognition and to be part of raising the profile of high standards in the profession within the region,” he commented.
Meanwhile his wife Clare (also pictured) described the North East as “a fantastic place to start up and develop an exciting business.” She serves as business development director at the company.
“It’s such a great achievement for our town, Gateshead, which is now home to two of the region’s three Chartered Insurance Brokers,” added Mrs Talbot-Jones.
Launched three years ago, Talbot Jones Risk Solutions provides insurance and risk management advice to charities, social enterprises, and professions.
