The holidays may be over but Ecclesiastical is still spreading Christmas cheer, announcing the beneficiaries of its ‘12 days of giving’ campaign.
According to the specialist insurer, which is owned by registered charity Allchurches Trust, the campaign saw more than 800 brokers participate and over 5,000 charitable causes in the UK receive votes. Out of those nominated, 120 charities were randomly selected as winners.
Each winning charity gets £1,000, with the full list of recipients available on Ecclesiastical’s website.
“Here at Ecclesiastical, our core purpose is to contribute to the greater good of society, so charitable giving is at the heart of our business,” stated group chief executive Mark Hews.
“We know that £1,000 can make a huge difference to the incredible work that charities do, and we’re looking forward to seeing how this festive financial boost will change lives for the better.”
Winners include the likes of Hampshire Search and Rescue, the Parkinson’s Disease Society of the United Kingdom, The Bridge Homelessness to Hope, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, The Heart of Kent Hospice, Devon Air Ambulance Trust, St Lawrence Charitable Fund, and Abby’s Heroes.
