QuestGates has continued its M&A spree with the acquisition of C&S Associates, a third-party motor claims handling firm.
The acquisition, the third for this year, was completed without the need for external funding, QuestGates said.
Founded in 1995, C&S Associates provides claims handling services for third-party property damage, credit hire and bodily injury claims, with a focus on reducing cost and adding value.
C&S will be fully integrated into QuestGates’ business, with Stuart Lansdown, QuestGates director of third-party services, taking over day-to-day responsibility at the company. C&S founding directors Mike Smith and Chris Chamberlain will remain as consultants to the business.
“C&S has a long-established track record, and the skills the team brings will complement the existing expertise within our third-party services team and adds to the capabilities of our motor team, enabling us to now provide a true end-to-end service for motor injury and third party property damage related claims,” Lansdown said. “We are delighted to welcome the team on board.”
“We’re proud of the business and reputation we have built over the past 27 years, but in order to grow further and create new opportunities for our team, we felt it was the right time for the company to become part of a larger business,” Smith and Chamberlain said. “QuestGates shares our service ethos and has built an enviable culture of nurturing talent.
“Not only that, the technology they use as the bedrock of their service offering is second to none. We’re confident that our team will be able to grow their skills further as part of QuestGates and that our clients will benefit enormously from the enhanced range of solutions available to them.”
