Reassured, the UK’s largest life insurance broker, has announced that Phil Jeynes (pictured above), its director of corporate strategy, will leave the company at the end of 2024.

Jeynes, a member of the executive committee for over five years, is said to be departing to pursue other opportunities.

Mark Townsend, CEO of Reassured, commented on the announcement, stating that Jeynes had played a significant role in the company’s growth.

“Phil has been a huge part of Reassured’s success over the last half decade, leading the strategy which has seen us add an advised capability, strengthen panel relationships and establish successful partnerships with major brands such as Go.Compare and Confused.com. We wish Phil every success in his future career,” Townsend said.

Reflecting on his time at Reassured, Jeynes said, “I am extremely grateful to the whole team at Reassured for their support, enthusiasm and camaraderie over the last five years. I have learned an enormous amount and enjoyed delivering many key strategic aims for the business. I hope and believe, under Mark’s leadership, Reassured will continue to go from strength to strength.”

Reassured, an FCA-regulated broker, specialises in arranging life insurance and has assisted in protecting more than 1.2 million families across the UK.

Last month, the broker also announced the appointment of Philip Byrne as chief risk and compliance officer.

Byrne previously served as head of compliance at Markerstudy Group and as director of risk and compliance at BGL Insurance.

In his new role, Byrne will focus on strengthening the firm’s governance framework and risk management strategies. He will also play a pivotal role in ensuring the company delivers positive customer outcomes as it continues investing in technology to enhance its products and digital capabilities across multiple channels.
