After a successful launch in the UK in 2019, specialist engineering and technology insurer HSB, which is part of Munich Re, has now added Ireland to its geographical reach.
The Fast Track e-trade platform gives brokers in the country full access to products which include construction annual, construction project, cyber and computer. According to Stephen Coughlan, regional development manager in Ireland, the platform gives brokers a quick and easy way to quote and bind.
“Following the successful roll-out in the UK, we wanted to offer our state-of-the-art online services to our brokers in Ireland,” he said. “Our e-trade platform has been designed to make construction and engineering products easy to trade electronically, and its development follows research and feedback from our brokers to ensure that HSB Fast Track is as comprehensive as possible.”
In addition, the platform comes with a dedicated e-trade team that gives brokers direct access to specialist underwriters headed by development manager Martin Parker.
“We want to make trading with HSB a quick, simple, and enjoyable process for our brokers,” said Parker. “For us, e-trading isn’t just about providing an online trading platform. Central to our e-trade proposition is ensuring brokers have direct access to a dedicated team of specialist underwriters and a fast response to any e-trade queries they have.”
