The industry veteran, whose experience at parent RSA spans 44 years, served as MD at the Isle of Man unit from 2009. He started out as a professional trainee with the Sun Alliance Group in Dublin.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with the group and have had a varied and exciting career, which has taken me to some interesting places,” said Gallagher, who held international roles in the likes of Saudia Arabia, Malaysia, and Jamaica. “The people at Tower have been a joy to work with and I know they will continue to deliver first-class service for my successor Emmet McQuillan.”
Underwriting manager for Tower Insurance prior to his appointment, McQuillan (pictured, left) has been with RSA his entire career of more than two decades. The chartered insurer was also president of the Insurance Institute of the Isle of Man.
