Insurance financing provider Premium Credit has announced the appointment of Mark Morley (pictured) as its new operations director. In this new role, Morley will be responsible for overseeing partner services and delivering market-leading operating standards.
Morley comes to the role from a previous tenure at Close Brothers, where he worked as retail operations director. Before that, he worked at Swinton Group for almost nine years, with his most recent role there being head of premium finance. According to his LinkedIn, Morley is a graduate of the Purbeck School and holds a leadership and management degree from The Open University.
In a news release, Premium Credit chief operations and people officer Josie Pileio said that Morley will help the firm deliver the high operation standards that it looks to achieve as it grows.
“His understanding of the customer journey, through his knowledge within the insurance industry and credit experience alongside his high level leadership experience, will also help us develop new, customised operational frameworks to ensure ongoing partner satisfaction. We are delighted that Mark is joining the team,” Pileio said.
Elsewhere in the firm, a recent study by the company found that more than half of small and medium-sized enterprises in the UK use credit to fund their insurance policies.
