Partners& has appointed James Agnew to the role of partner, private client.
In his new role, Agnew will report to Partners& managing partner of private client Darren Humphray.
Agnew is the co-founder of Stackhouse Poland. Together with his partners, they completed an MBI of the firm in 2001 and led it through its sale to Gallagher in 2019. A release said that at that time, Stackhouse Poland became one of the largest specialist insurance brokers in the UK. While at Stackhouse Poland, Agnew was overseeing the company’s private client and private office divisions.
“Our aim is to build the UK’s leading insurance advisory business. We will do that by bringing together key talent and delivering an unrivalled experience for our clients. I am delighted to welcome James to Partners& and believe his arrival is a significant endorsement of our strategy,” said Darren Humphray, adding that Agnew’s “unique insight and experience” will enhance Partners&’s proposition for its clients.
“I have been hugely impressed with the direction Partners& is going. I found the team’s energy, clear vision and strong leadership compelling. It’s a great combination for clients, and I believe provides Partners& with a great platform to deliver exceptional service,” commented Agnew.
