Lockton has announced the appointment of Clarissa Franks (pictured) as head of UK P&C retail, reporting to the firm’s European CEO EJ Hentenaar and working with head of UK P&C Tony Hardy.
In this position, Franks will play a key role in Lockton UK’s continued growth, accelerating the expansion of the retail division when she gets called up in November. Her appointment also reflects the firm’s continued investment in talented associates. Over the past year, Lockton UK’s PC&C retail division has seen a growth of 21% over the previous year.
According to her LinkedIn, Franks comes to the role with more than 15 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Lockton, she worked at Marsh in various senior roles, most recently as retail placement leader for the firm’s UK and Ireland’s three client-facing divisions – risk management, corporate, and commercial.
Hentenaar said that her in-depth knowledge, expertise, and experience will be integral to Lockton’s retail offering as it moves to further grow in the UK market.
“Throughout her career, Clarissa has excelled by going the extra mile, adding value and building relationships based on trust. As we continue to expand the division, it is crucial that we have the right people in place. As a firm that grows one handshake at a time, nurturing our culture is a priority. Clarissa is the ideal candidate to build on our success, while preserving the values and philosophy that makes Lockton unique,” Hentenaar said.
The broker’s reinsurance arm also recently announced the appointment of Chris Parish as market innovation leader across all markets.
