Paul Loring has come onboard HW International (HWI) in London to boost the insurance brokerage’s international political violence, terrorism, and cyber capabilities.
“HWI’s platform, footprint, and drive for growth is something that I can associate myself with, where relationships are based on trust and recognised as such,” noted Loring, who brings over three decades of industry expertise and was most recently with Miller Insurance Services.
“It is a delight to be joining a privately-held company like HWI which recognises that trusting in people, their abilities and their entrepreneurial spirit, is the key to having a real competitive advantage.”
Martin Kelsh, director and head of international non-marine at H.W.Wood Ltd, HWI’s London office, said the appointment comes at a time when they are making considerable investments and adding talent to the business.
He commented: “Paul’s skills and expertise will bring our existing political violence offering to a new level and compliment the company’s growth ambitions.”
