Finch Group now owns Oxfordshire-based Bridle Insurance, following what the commercial insurance broker described as its biggest acquisition so far.
Without disclosing financial terms of the transaction, the Ethos Broking regional partner said its latest swoop brings £10 million in gross written premium (GWP) and a workforce of 17 people who are under the leadership of directors Neil Fox and Bob Turley.
The deal will see Turley join the management team at Finch Group as Fox moves into a consultancy role. Meanwhile all employees of the commercial and personal lines business are staying and will continue to operate from their workplace in Witney.
“I’m thrilled to welcome Neil, Bob, and the team to Finch,” commented managing director Vince Gardner. “This eighth deal [since joining Ethos Broking] is our largest to date and Bridle Insurance is a brokerage I have admired for many years. They have strong client relationships and have a perfect cultural fit with the Finch Group.
“Each of our acquisitions has brought a new dynamic to the group, and I believe Bridle can only strengthen our offering in the South. We’re looking forward to the future and are hugely proud of the invaluable service our team is providing to SMEs in our region and beyond.”
Finch Group, which now manages in excess of £55 million in GWP, was Ethos Broking's first acquisition in November 2016.
