James Nicholson (pictured), who has been with Zurich UK since joining the insurer’s graduate scheme nearly three decades ago, has now taken on the role of chief claims officer.
Prior to his promotion, Nicholson served as commercial claims head. Updating his job title on LinkedIn, the company stalwart wrote: “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as chief claims officer, Zurich UK.”
“James is yet another great example of someone who started their career at Zurich and has now joined the executive committee,” highlighted Zurich UK chief executive Tim Bailey. “In fact, this is the story for a quarter of our exco team.
“James’ breadth of experience, relentless desire to deliver for our customers, and fantastic market insight means he’s well-placed to take on this role. I’m looking forward to seeing this team go from strength to strength in James’ capable hands.”
Nicholson, meanwhile, is honoured to assume the top claims post.
