UK & Ireland claims director John Latter is moving up at Chubb to fill the post to be left by Europe and Eurasia & Africa claims director Julie Chalmers.
Latter will assume his new senior vice president (SVP) position with immediate effect, while continuing to carry out his UK & Ireland duties until a replacement takes over. He will remain based in London.
“I am delighted to promote John to this important role,” commented Chubb Group SVP David Furby, who is also the regional president for Chubb European Group.
“John is highly respected within the industry and has a proven track record within claims across many years. His insights and leadership will help to continue to deliver a superior experience for our customers and strengthen further our award-winning claims service across both these regions.”
A three-decade insurance industry stalwart, Latter came onboard Chubb from Zurich in 2017. He will now have overall responsibility for the insurer’s claims services strategy and delivery in Europe and Eurasia & Africa, working closely with Chalmers for a seamless handover.
