The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) has unveiled its conference theme for next year.
“After choosing a reflective theme for last year’s conference, we wanted to look forward this year and support brokers in navigating ‘What’s next?’ on the horizon,” BIBA chief executive Graeme Trudgill said in a release.
“At The BIBA Conference 2024 we will be discussing ‘What’s next?’ for insurance brokers – from cyber risk and artificial intelligence, to recruiting the next generation of young brokers and the changing political landscape. I’m already counting down the days until The BIBA Conference 2024 and can’t wait to welcome everyone.”
Next year’s edition of the biggest insurance broking event in the UK will take place on May 15 and 16 at Manchester Central.
Talking about what’s ahead, conference director Emma Chapman said: “As usual, our seminar sessions will be a deep dive into the critical insurance-specific issues, including updated regulations, managing the impact of the cost-of-living crisis, fair value, and underinsurance.
“However, we also have several new features that we’re looking forward to announcing in the New Year that will truly showcase ‘What’s next?’”
More than 9,000 people attend BIBA’s annual conference.
