Legal insurer ARAG continues to pursue its expansion plans with three key additions to its underwriting team.
The specialist insurer has appointed Andy Dyer as underwriting operations manager. He brings over 20 years’ industry experience, the majority of which has been gained in the legal expenses sector.
“This is a fascinating time for the future of the legal expenses market with ever-increasing customer expectations and a swathe of fundamental changes in the industry,” Dyer said.
Joining Dyer in the underwriting team is Ryan Smith, who takes on the role of ATE technical underwriting manager. He brings 15 years of insurance experience to his new position.
“I wanted to work for ARAG because the company has a reputation for being innovative and for focusing heavily on customer service,” Smith said of his appointment.
“It’s a growing team, bringing in a lot of experience and the company is clearly investing in this particular part of the market,” he added.
Also joining the company is Tom Hunt, who takes up the position of ATE technical underwriter. He previously worked as an assistant legal expenses underwriter.
