Chris Skolsky (pictured) is rising the ranks at Allianz Insurance.
He has been announced as the firm’s new technical claims manager, casualty, having originally joined the firm back in 2006 as a claims assistant, motor. In between the two roles he was part of the disease and run off team as deputy leader, and a claims specialist. He also acted as a claims performance specialist within the major loss team and helped enhance the firm’s data capabilities.
He will now report into head of casualty claims, Mark Merrix, and will be responsible for leading the firm’s claims technical strategy, as well as the performance of its casualty claims handling centre.
“Chris has a very impressive record during his time at Allianz and I’m delighted to announce his appointment,” said Merrix. “I have no doubt that his experience and knowledge of the business will bring invaluable expertise to the team.”
