Replacing Ann Alexander, who recently retired from the business, Young moves up from her deputy chief compliance officer role which most recently saw her support the transfer of Allianz’s home and personal motor business to LV=.
Young was also responsible for preparing the compliance function of Allianz for the successful integration of LV= General Insurance and the general insurance division of Legal & General.

Young came onboard Allianz in 2003 as part of the UK compliance team. During her time with the insurer she has completed a two-year secondment with law firm Pinsent Masons where she qualified as a solicitor.
