After four years at Advent Underwriting Limited, Robin Waller is moving to Aspen Insurance to succeed Richard Rudden as head of international upstream energy.
Waller joined Advent in 2014 and served as energy head for two and a half years before taking on the role of head of specialty. He was in charge of upstream energy, marine (hull, specie, cargo, and liabilities), and crisis management.
The insurance industry veteran brings two decades of experience to Aspen. Prior to his most recent position, Waller spent nearly 13 years at Liberty International Underwriters after being with Gerling.
Based in London, the key hire will report to international energy & construction head Erik Armellino starting September 03.
