Yes, Francois-Xavier Boisseau (pictured), former CEO of Ageas UK, has found another role in the insurance industry – becoming the latest big name, after the recent addition of Amanda Blanc – to join the board of specialist motor insurer ERS.
Boisseau is well known for more than 30 years in the industry, including tenures at the likes of AXA, Carole Nash, Lark, Bollington and Groupama. He also currently holds positions on the board of Argo Lloyd’s Managing Agency and as a non-executive director at Ecclesiastical. Now he hopes to bring his skillset to ERS.
“ERS has an excellent reputation for specialist motor insurance among insurers and brokers,” he said. “I’m honoured to join an organisation with such specialist expertise, strong technology infrastructure and an appetite for growth.”
Boisseau was welcomed by board chair Blanc who commented that she had known him for 20 years and that he would be a “great addition.” Meanwhile, Jeff Greenberg, chairman and CEO of Aquiline Capital Partners and chairman of ERS DGB, the holding company behind the specialist insurer was similarly enthusiastic.
“The board and I would like to welcome Francois-Xavier to the ERS team,” he said. “His deep knowledge of the industry will be a valuable addition to the board and will help the company continue to strengthen its position in the market.”
