Chris Clement (pictured, left) has joined H&H Insurance Brokers (HHIB) to serve as commercial director amid the company’s continued growth.
Bringing extensive rural sector knowledge to the new role, Clement will be in charge of developing HHIB’s products and services to the wider agricultural industries. In addition, the Darlington-based executive will be responsible for broadening the broker’s existing non-agri commercial offer.
Clement’s more than two and a half decades of insurance industry experience includes time spent at Swinton, NFU Mutual, and McClarrons Ltd.
“I am thrilled to be taking up this exciting opportunity to work for such a progressive insurance brokerage,” commented the key recruit. “I have known H&H Insurance Brokers for a number of years; it is a dynamic organisation with a strong brand and is well respected within the industry and is also known for having excellent relationships with its clients.
“My aims going forward are to grow the rural commercial side of the business, look at new services, and expand our geographical reach in the North, to North Yorkshire, County Durham, and the Tees Valley. Of key importance to me is to work with the team to remain incredibly client-focussed and continue to offer a second-to-none insurance support service to clients.”
The commercial director will be working closely with HHIB managing director Paul Graham (pictured, right), who believes Clement’s knowledge of and enthusiasm for the area and the industry will be an asset to the firm’s growing team and portfolio.
