Tower Insurance has announced it has moved to new premises on Rotorua’s Hinemaru Street.
Tower’s local team in Rotorua, of 50 people, started working from the new location this week. The insurer said the newly refurbished offices are a symbol of the transformation currently underway and are designed to help the team work in a more agile and responsive way.
According to Tower chief executive officer Richard Harding, Tower is Kiwi and remains committed to having local teams here in New Zealand, whereas other insurers are offshoring their services.
“We are proud of our connection to the Bay of Plenty region and are excited to strengthen it by creating a larger and better work environment for our team,” he said.
Harding noted the Tower team is looking forward to continuing to help customers. There’s no change for Tower customers, they can continue to contact the team online or on 0800 808 808, he added.
