“I am delighted to welcome Thérèse to the team,” said John Lyon, Ando Insurance Group CEO. “We are thrilled that we have the ability to attract someone of her calibre to the business. She has been recognised as an exceptional female leader in the industry, having received an Insurance Business NZ Elite Women 2022 award, and we are lucky to have her extensive leadership and operational experience. Thérèse is here to help build our capacity and skill sets and help chart the course as our business matures and becomes more complex.”
Three new independent directors have also joined Ando’s board – Karl Armstrong, Kirsty Campbell, and Byron Pepper. With these additions, Ando’s board is now composed of six directors, three of whom are independent members.
“We are delighted and honoured to welcome our three new independent directors to Ando,” Lyon said. “Our business has experienced extraordinary growth and these appointments mark another exciting milestone in our journey. They bring decades of leadership and highly relevant experience to help accelerate our growth strategy and will help challenge our thinking as the business grows and matures.”
