The Centre for Study of Insurance Operations (CSIO) has awarded Wawanesa Insurance the Application Programming Interface (API) Security Standards Certification, confirming the insurer’s adherence to CSIO’s rigorous standards for data confidentiality and API endpoint security.
CSIO developed the API Security Standards in collaboration with insurers and broker management system (BMS) vendors, offering a framework for secure API authentication and authorization.
Through the certification, Wawanesa has validated that its API endpoints meet all necessary security protocols, enabling brokers to trust in the safety of their data during API interactions.
