Canadian National Insurance Crime Services (CANATICS) announced that it has just named a new Chair of the Board of Directors.
The non-profit organization chose The Co-Operators Group president and CEO Kathy Bardswick to replace outgoing Chair of the Board of Directors George Cooke, who had served as CANATICS’ chair since it was founded in 2013.

Bardswick had served as The Co-operators’ president and CEO from 2002 to 2016. She has also served as chair of the International Cooperative and Mutual Insurance Federation and the Institute for Catastrophic Loss Reduction. At present, she is a board member of the International Co-operative Alliance, where she chairs its Audit Committee and its Blue Ribbon Commission on Capital. Bardswick was also recently appointed as a board member of Metrolinx.
