Promutuel Insurance has obtained certification from the Centre for Study of Insurance Operations (CSIO) to send personal lines eDocs.
The insurer has been sending eDocs since October 15 to help encourage paperless workflow among brokers throughout New Brunswick, a company release said.
“We are extremely proud not only to go live with our eDocs solution, but to obtain CSIO Certification as well,” said Promutuel Insurance chief operating officer Guy Lecours.
Lecours added that the eDocs certification lets brokers know that Promutuel follows industry best practices, and that the process downloads seamlessly into their BMS.
“I congratulate Promutuel Insurance on adding another CSIO Certified eDocs solution to the market,” said Canadian Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (CAMIC) Normand Lafrenière. “It is a pleasure to see mutual insurers like Promutuel Insurance take such meaningful strides towards digital operations, and I look forward to more paperless solutions for our industry in the future.”
Since its inception in 2012, nearly 80% of all brokers in Canada have used CSIO’s eDocs standard to streamline their workflow and reduce their costs, a statement read.
