The Property and Casualty Insurance Compensation Corporation (PACICC) has a new board line-up headed by existing member and new chair Dave Oakden (pictured), who was chief actuary at the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions.
Among the new additions to the roster is independent director Tamara Vrooman, Vancouver Airport Authority’s president and chief executive.
PACICC also saw the return of independent directors Penny Lee, Anne-Marie Beaudoin, Timothy Hodgson, David MacNaughton, and Alister Campbell. Lee serves as deputy chair. The returning member insurer directors are Christian Fournier, Lisa Guglietti, Marc Lipman, Andy Taylor, and Silvy Wright.
Leaving the board are Travelers Canada president and chief executive Heather Masterson and The GTG Group president and CEO and ex-PACICC chair Glenn Gibson.
“We thank both Heather and Glenn for their many years of valuable service to PACICC – Heather retiring after two terms and Glenn retiring after eight years of service, including five years as board chair,” PACICC chief executive Alister Campbell said.
“With the addition of the talents of Tracy Garrad, Tamara Vrooman, Kathleen Thomas, and Frédéric Cotnoir, PACICC is well-positioned to carry on with our comprehensive modernization agenda.”
