MBC Group, a consulting and post-loss appraisal services company, has announced that it has acquired Claim Assist.
Claim Assist, established in 2015, is a provider of small post-loss appraisal, ladder assistance, mediation services, and industry education across Canada. A release said that Claim Assist is best known for the “industry-leading” training it provides to appraisers and adjusters. The firm is also the exclusive “Xactimate Trainer” for the Insurance Institute of Canada as well as the exclusive Canadian Haag Certified Inspector (HCI) program provider.
“This acquisition enables the MBC Group to provide the broadest post-lost appraisal services in Canada - from ladder assist to low and mid-market property losses through to large-loss, commercial and industrial property losses,” commented MBC Group chief operating officer Ross Huartt.
Huartt noted that the acquisition expands MBC Group’s footprint and solidifies its status as a national-level consultant.
