The “obvious choice” – that was how Lloyd Sadd Insurance Brokers described its new president and CEO this morning as it announced Chris Huebner’s elevation into the role.
“Chris is a long-time Lloyd Sadd employee who took on the role of president in 2015 and his demonstrated leadership and expertise make him the obvious choice for this new role,” said T. Marshall Sadd, the outgoing CEO and president. “Chris has been the face of Lloyd Sadd in the community for a number of years and has surrounded himself with a strong leadership team to continue the entrepreneurial drive.”
Huebner has been with the firm for more than 23 years holding a variety of roles. In a release announcing his promotion it was outlined that he had “developed a passion for delivering a superior client experience” and that he believes that strong leaders should be “coaches and mentors.”
“It’s part of our responsibilities as leaders to facilitate that career discussion and help our team members to see there’s a path that’s greater than what they are doing right now,” he said.
“I feel very fortunate to be in a great business surrounded by talented people; all of which contributes to the exceptional culture we have at Lloyd Sadd. I am privileged to have this role and would like to thank Marshall and others who believed in me. Their encouragement and mentorship has helped me to prepare for this role and lead this exciting milestone in Lloyd Sadd’s evolution.”
T. Marshall Sadd meanwhile, is set to move into the role as chairman of Lloyd Sadd while maintaining his position as executive chairman of Navacord Inc – Lloyd Sadd was a founding Navacord broker partner.
