Insurance Business Canada endeavours to recognize individuals that stand out in the insurance industry based on their career achievements, accolades and experience. This recognition should be reflective and inclusive of people of colour who may have been previously bypassed or overlooked by the industry sector at large.
In the inaugural Leaders of Change report, IBC, in partnership with the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada, Ebony Women International Insurance Network and the Toronto Insurance Women’s Association, seeks to identify key trailblazers who are promoting inclusion through action and driving change in the insurance industry.
IBC readers are invited to nominate themselves and/or other individuals who identify as persons of colour and are actively contributing to the success of the insurance industry by completing this brief online form.
The entry form can be accessed online until January 29, 2021.
The final list will be selected with the guidance of an independent advisory panel. The results will be published in the April 2021 issue of Insurance Business Canada magazine and online.
Insurance Business Canada is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the insurance industry. Survey voters are invited to nominate/self-nominate anyone who meets the above criteria regardless of sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, national origin, disability or age.
